Kim started practicing yoga when she was pregnant with her first child and practiced periodically until she discovered power vinyasa. Since then, she practices most days. After finding the amazing benefits for both body and mind, she expanded further by becoming a certified 200 RYT. She also holds an advanced certificate from Next Generation Yoga for teaching 2-13 year olds and is involved in coursework with Mindful Schools.
Kim is interested in how yoga and mindfulness can help adults and young people alike develop a healthy foundation for positive living and well-being.
Kim has worked with teachers, kids, and schools, focusing on developing sustainable communities, both as a consultant and non-profit co-director. She has extensive experience working with organizations with diverse populations across the world to implement strategy and organizational change.
Outside of teaching and practicing yoga, she enjoys being with her husband and three children, reading, dancing, cooking, hiking, and finding the beauty and wonder in nature.
