-Friday Evening Public talk (7:30-9:15PM)-
Yoga, the Buddha, and How we use Money. In this public talk, Michael Stone will explore what the Buddha taught about money, how we earn a living, and how this can be useful in contemporary life. Yoga values interdependence, simplicity, and care for all beings - How can these values bring our yoga practice into daily life is specific ways. Drawing on traditional teachings, the Occupy Movement, and his role as a teacher in community, Michael will offer both an intellectual and heartfelt response to our relationship with money and economics.
This will be a talk accessible for people of all backgrounds, with practice experience or not.

**Saturday & Sunday Morning (9am to 11:30am)**
Going deep into standing postures, twists and basic inversions, we will look deeply at the role of breathing and attention in undoing habitual patterns in the body, mind and nervous system. The anatomy of yoga breathing and bandhas (inner bonds) in yoga postures will allow us to look at alignment, core strength and how to work with your mind.
**Saturday & Sunday Afternoon (1pm to 3:30pm)**
Learn the meditative side of yoga. We will study the Yoga-Sutra in detail, and learn how to bring meditation, insight and kindness into our practice and life.
Students of all levels are welcome. This workshop is beneficial for teachers interested in learning the depths of practice and how to bring those depths to life with students.
Michael Stone is a renowned yoga teacher, Buddhist teacher and psychotherapist based in Canada. He integrates Vipassana, Zen and Ashtanga Yoga and runs a thriving studio in Toronto that integrates Yoga, meditation, and social action.
